What it documents

A prosthesis is not judged by the final result alone, but by every step that led to it. Sarident keeps a photographic record of the five stages and lets you compare before and after.

• •Impressions — the initial mould, with the date and the conditions it was taken in.
• •Wax rims — the record of the relationship between the jaws, before the teeth go on.
• •Try-in — the wax fitting, while the position can still be corrected.
• •Fitting — handing over the finished prosthesis, with a photograph of the patient's mouth.
• •Follow-ups — the later checks, which is where adjustments surface.

How it is built

Rust with actix-web and SvelteKit on PostgreSQL, with an offline mode: on a field day the connection is not always there, and the record cannot depend on it. Photographs are tied to the patient and the stage, so the before-and-after comparison falls out on its own.

What Sarident is not

It is a photographic tracking tool, not a dental records system.
